Always had a smile. He enjoyed walking to class from his home a couple of blocks away, and making giant snowballs. Nice kid.

Tom was one of the "easiest-going" people I ever met. I don't think I ever heard a harsh or unkind word from him. I am sure he was a joy to those who knew him later in life as well.
